The Making Of (Director)
The Making Of is a mockumentary following a young director who believes this
film will be his big break. He hires a film crew to film a behind-the-scenes
video which he plans to release alongside the film. Having little respect
for the craft, the director treats the cast and crew poorly. The main actor
is desperate for approval from the director and constantly tries to please
him without any luck. Fed up with the director’s antics, the crew eventually
try to stage an intervention but are met with hostility from the director.
The crew abandons the production, leaving only the director and actor. The
actor finally realizes he deserves better than this treatment, and the
director is left completely alone to wrestle with others' opinions of him.
